The Michael E. DeBakey Memorial Life Science Award is given each year at the annual Texas Life Science Conference to the undiscovered life science company with the highest potential to commercialize its technology. This coveted award was established to further propel one of our state's innovative emerging companies toward commercial success. The Michael E DeBakey Life Science award was established in 2006 and will continue to be presented to a promising life science company on an annual basis.
