Texas Life Science Conference
The Texas Life Science Conference is Texas' premier venture conference, the most comprehensive showcase of cutting edge research and innovative entrepreneurs in the state. This year's conference will be held in Houston, TX November 10-12, 2010. With national and local venture capitalists and biotech companies in attendance, this conference serves as a vehicle to raise awareness for all that Texas biotech and medtech has to offer.
The Texas Life Science Conference will Feature:
- The opportunity for investors and life science companies to schedule informal One-on-One Meetings during the conference with other investors and company executives.
- Promising technologies from research institutions and innovative life science companies
- Ample networking opportunities through several scheduled networking/meal breaks, as well as a special" Evening at the Texas Life Science Conference" event.
- The Michael E. DeBakey Memorial Life Science Award. This award is given each year at the Texas Life Science Conference to the undiscovered life science company with the highest potential to commercialize its technology. The 2009 winner of the Michael E. DeBakey Memorial Life Science Award was Viroxis.
- Thursday will feature presentation, panel discussions, and one-on-one meetings
- Friday will be focused on education including workshops, speakers, and panel discussions
